Relying on the Spirit

This week we celebrate our last Sunday of May Mission Month, with a focus on Malawi.

It’s also a very special Sunday in the church calendar – Pentecost. I’d like to share something that struck me in my devotional this week.

“As a child of God, you are like a sailboat…you need to ‘catch the wind’, the wind of the Spirit! You have to let it push you in order to move forward. You have a choice: you can count on your own strength and wisdom, or you can rely on the Spirit of God.”

Just between us, relying on the Spirit of God is a much better plan!
